Dr Mergahny Condemns the Vicious Attack on Egypt's Judges and Totally Refuses the Proposed Judicial Authority Law

The independence of the judiciary and commitment to legitimacy and resorting to judicial rulings are the most important principles of credibility and transparency. The role of the judge is to stand for the right and help in retrieving the rights to their holders. Therefore, it is not logical that the one who settles the grievances of citizens becomes oppressed himself (you can\'t get blood out of stones)

The Minister of Justice is obliged to respect judgments of the judiciary, he is the holder of the scales of justice, and should not permit it to be disrupted.

The former regime has fallen because it became addicted to the lack of respect for judiciary. The new era must respect independence of the judiciary and respect its decisions and rulings.

If the judge tastes the bitterness of injustice, he cannot offer justice to others, therefore the mean would dream he would give them what is not their rights, and the weak would feel desperate he would be able to provide justice to them.

The great revolution has created a regime that respects the independence of the judiciary and its rulings because lack of respect for the provisions of the judiciary in normal circumstances is considered profanation to justice; the regime should not degrade the role of judiciary or undermine it against the whole society. If the judge himself can't have justice, no one else would enjoy it.

The blessed revolution carried out by the youth shook the dust of injustice and we bid goodbye to the night of suffering, and the revolution will continue, God willing, and we will receive a new morning promising of welfare and beauty.
We resort to the saying of our God in the Holy Quran (Our Lord, decide between us and our people in truth, for You are the Best of Deciders.)
